Andrzej Stasiuk

Born in 1960 in Warsaw. Lives in Beskid Niski. Prose writer, essayist. Author of The Walls of Hebron, Dukla, Galician Stories, Nine, Going to Babadag, Fado, Doytchland and a few other books. Laureate of many awards, recently the International Literary Award Vilenica 2008.
