Born in 1960. Graduate from Warsaw Polish philology, secretary of Igor Newerly in the years 1982-1985. In the years 1983-1987, editor of the underground union newspaper “WOLA”. Between 1987 and 1989, she was an employee of the Department of Handwritings of the Adam Mickiewicz Literature Museum in Warsaw, then of the publishing house POMOST. In the years 1991-1997, she cooperated with “Ex libris” – an addition about books to “Życie Warszawy”. In 1991, together with Adam Widmański and Wojciech Kuhn, she founded the Publishing House W.A.B. From 2001 she lectured at the Post-Graduate Editorial Study at the University of Warsaw. Distinguished by the medal “Deserved activist of culture”. In 2002, together with partners, she received the distinction “Creator of Culture” from the weekly “Polityka”. In 2006 she received the Order of Merit from the French president for promoting French literature and the European publishing programme, in 2008 a Bronze Medal “Deserved in Culture Gloria Artis”. The weekly “POLITYKA” granted her first place in 2008 in the ranking of the most influential figures in the field of promoting Polish literature.
