 Graduate of English philology and cultural science within Interfaculty Individual Studies in the Humanities at the University of Warsaw, assistant in the Department of Literary European Science of the Institute for Literary Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), doctoral student in the School of Social Sciences of PAN, holder of scholarships granted by Fulbright, the Polityka weekly and the Ministry of National Education and Sport. An author of texts and translations, including Historia w okresie przejściowym (History in the Transition Period) by Dominick LaCapra (Universitas, 2009). In her scientific works, she deals mainly with modern literature from English-speaking countries, modern Polish literature, cartoons and representations of the Holocaust in the culture of the latest period.
At the Conrad Festival she will conduct a meeting with Herta Müller on 5 November (Friday) at 6.00 p.m. in the National Museum (Al. 3 Maja 1).
