Anna Marchewka

Literary specialist and literary critic. She graduated from master’s studies and then doctoral studies at the Department of Polish Philology of the Jagiellonian University. Since 2005 she has regularly collaborated with the Lampa monthly and the Zadra quarterly. She has also published her texts in Pogranicza and Tygodnik Powszechny. She collaborated with the Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities by conducting meetings (initially together with Iga Noszczyk, later independently) within the cycle “Margins of the Humanities” (in years 2007-2008 her guests were: Krzysztof Rutkowski, Błażej Warkocki, Joanna Tokarska-Bakir, Marzena Sowa). As a part of her collaboration with the Znak publishing house, she co-hosted a cycle of meetings “In the Realm of Literature” (2007-2008).

At the Conrad Festival, she will host the meeting “Family Stories”, with the participation of Joanna Bator, Inga Iwasiów and Bożena Umińska-Keff, on 4 November (Thursday) at 5:00 pm in the Pod Jaszczurami Club (Central Market Square, Rynek Główny 8).
