Journalist. Nominated five Times in the Grand Press competition, he won this award twice. In 2002 he was distinguished for his article “Terror ekologiczny” (Ecological terror), which described the problem of so-called “eco-tribute”, i.e. extortion of money for withdrawal from protests through organizations pretending to be involved in the ecological movement. In 2003 he won the Grand Press award for his article “Folwark księdza Nowaka” (Priest Nowak’s farm), which revealed the background of activities of the Property Committee based on granting excessive compensations for property seized from the Church during the communist era. In 2004 he received the main award in the contest Does Everybody Resort to Bribes? organized by the Anti-Corruption Program of the Batory Foundation (cycle “Gabinety martwych dusz” (Rooms of Dead Souls), describing the problem of corruption in the National Health Fund).

He conducts classes in investigative journalism and journalistic genres in the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University. He lives in Kraków.

In 2007 he published (together with Grzegorz Indulski) a book Afganistan. Po co nam ta wojna? (Afghanistan. What Is This War For?).In May 2010 the W.A.B. Publishing House published his book on Iran: Czwarty pożar Teheranu (Fourth Fire of Teheran), which was nominated to the Beata Pawlak Award.
